Introduction and treatment mechanism of floating needle therapy

Dr. Sun studied under several renowned Chinese medicine experts, including Professor Shan Qiuhua, a national master of Chinese medicine; Professor Xu Nenggui, a Qihuang Scholar and Chief Scientist of the 973 Program; Professor Fu Wenbin, a famous Chinese medicine doctor in Guangdong Province; Professor Fu Zhonghua, the inventor of Floating Needle Therapy; and Professor Xu Jiadong, the founder of classical Jingfang (classic formulas).

Through these teachings, he developed a clinical approach and academic philosophy centered on "syndrome differentiation and treatment, the combined use of acupuncture and herbal medicine, and the integration of acupuncture and moxibustion." He is skilled in using Floating Needle Therapy and classical Jingfang to treat various types of pain, sports injuries, internal and gynecological disorders, as well as difficult conditions such as stubborn facial paralysis, femoral head necrosis, and stress urinary incontinence. He has led two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and participated in four others. He has also led two projects at the department and bureau levels and one project funded by the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory Open Fund. Additionally, he led a research project on Floating Needle Therapy under the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies and participated in a major basic research project under the Ministry of Science and Technology's 973 Program, along with several provincial and ministerial-level projects. He has authored one book, served as deputy editor for one monograph, contributed to three other monographs, and co-authored our textbooks. He has published over 50 papers, including six indexed in SCI (Science Citation Index).
