Dr. Huo studied at Henan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (now Henan University of Chinese Medicine) from 1978 to 1983. After graduation, he practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine for six years at the Luoyamg Baimasi Orthopedic Hospital in Henan. In 1989, he came to Western Australia and founded the Beijing Acuponcture and Herbal Clinic. Worked as a Chinese medicine practitioner.

Asthma is a common respiratory disease, particularly in Australia, where its incidence is extremely high. According to statistics, approximately one in nine people may suffer from varying degrees of asthma. Western medicine believes that the disease can only be controlled with medication, but cannot be cured. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), however, holds a different view, using acupuncture and Chinese Medication to treat asthma.

Here, we will discuss the treatment of asthma using TCM herbs and acupuncture, and introduce Professor Shao Jingming's "Three Acupoints, Five Needles, and One Cupping" method.
